    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for combined use of a device enabling a user to easily learn accents, intonation and the like in learning and acquiring a foreign language such as English and a storage device wherein timing marks are provided in front of character notation of software and color changing telops synchronized with voice output are used for the character notation. SOLUTION: A user adjusts a retractable bellows part for size adjustment connecting an ear pad and a mouth pad of the own voice feedback device, and wears the device on the left side of the user's head. The device is used in combination with software wherein timing marks are provided in front of the character notation on the video screen of a game machine, a personal computer and the like, and color changing telops synchronized with the voice output are used for the character notation so that the change of colors is synchronized with the outputted model voice. The own voice feedback device in such configuration for transmitting user's own voice to one ear is used in combination with a storage device using the software wherein timing marks are provided in front of the character notation on a video screen and color changing telops synchronized with voice output are used for the character notation.     • An optical pickup for recording or reproducing an information signal in an optical disc includes a light source for emitting a light beam toward the optical disc, an objective lens for focusing the light beam emitted from the light source onto a recording surface of the optical disc, and a photodetector for receiving the light beam reflected by the recording surface of the optical disc and outputting a signal corresponding to an intensity of the received light beam. A spot of the light beam received by the photodetector is asymmetric in both a radial direction and a tangential direction of the optical disc. A lens shift signal for the objective lens is detected by a controller on the basis of the signal output from the photodetector, the controller controlling the objective lens to follow the optical disc.
