    • A wired circuit board prevents a sealing resin filled in an electronic component mounting portion from overflowing and spreading to a different area other than the electronic component mounting portion. An electronic component placing area is provided in the electronic component mounting portion for the electronic component to be placed and terminals are located within the electronic component placing area and formed to extend continuously with the conductive wires. Also, a groove extending around the electronic component mounting portion to intersect with the conductive wires is formed in the insulating cover layer. Further, protrusions protruding in a direction of the conductive wires being extended in the groove are formed at an intersecting portion thereof with the conductive wires. This can reduce a tendency of the overly filled sealing resin to flow over the groove, thus preventing the spread of the sealing resin from the groove to the outside thereof.

    • A lubrication device for a dry-sump, four-stroke engine includes a crankcase having a divider wall interposed between a crank chamber and a separate adjoining chamber. A crankshaft is housed in the crank chamber and is driven by reciprocating movement of pistons. A crank web faces the divider wall, which has a through hole for connecting the crank chamber with the separate chamber, and is opened by the crank web when the piston moves from a top dead center position toward a bottom dead center position, and is closed when the piston moves from the bottom dead center toward the top dead center position. A return hole connects the crank chamber and the separate chamber, for returning lubricant oil that flowed through the through hole into the separate chamber from the crank chamber, back to the crank chamber by utilizing pressure fluctuations within the crank chamber.

    • A method of manufacturing a composite longitudinal vibration mechanical filter that vibrates at a preselected central frequency in a high frequency range. The filter includes a plurality of vibratable bodies including input and output vibratable bodies each having respective piezoelectric members superposed thereon. Coupling elements couple the vibratable bodies to each other. Supporting elements project respectively from the input and output vibratable bodies. A holder is provided to which the supporting elements are attached. The method includes forming an integral body including the plurality of vibratable bodies, the coupling elements, the supporting elements, the holder and a vibration absorbing body holder for eliminating unnecessary vibrations. The vibration absorbing body holder is disposed between at least one of the vibratable bodies and the holder, and is disposed so as to absorb unnecessary vibrations which are transmitted to the output vibratable body, and to reduce unnecessary spurious responses occurring outside of a bandpass region of the filter. The piezoelectric members are fixedly superposed on the input and output vibratable bodies in sandwiching relation thereto, and respective electrodes are connected to the piezoelectric members.

The grooves extend in the direction in which the longitudinally vibratable tuning bars are longitudinally vibratable, and are shorter than the length of the longitudinally vibratable tuning bars. Through holes may instead be defined in the longitudinally vibratable tuning bars, the through holes having an opening size smaller than the wavelength of the longitudinal vibration of the longitudinally vibratable tuning bars. Piezoelectric members are fixedly superposed on the input and output longitudinally vibratable tuning bars in sandwiching relation thereto.
