摘要： An illumination optical system is disclosed, which leads a luminous flux forward effectively, which emitted backward from a light source. The illumination optical system comprises a light source, and a first optical member arranged on an opposite side of a light irradiation side with respect to the light source. The first optical member includes a refractive surface through which light from the light source is transmitted and a reflective surface which reflects the light from the refractive surface toward the light irradiation side.

摘要： The present invention discloses a lighting apparatus including a light source, an optical member that is placed in front of the light source and provided with a reflecting surface for reflecting light from the light source or prism sections each made up of a refracting surface which receives the light incident from the light source and a reflecting surface for reflecting the light incident from this refracting surface. Here, in the optical member, there is a plurality of pairs of the reflecting surfaces or prism sections arranged in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis within a plane including the radial direction of the light source centered on the optical axis. The present invention can provide a low-profile lighting apparatus using light from the light source with high efficiency.

摘要： An illumination device (flash device), which is suited to cameras, includes a flash discharge tube, and an optical member having an entrance surface which a light beam from the flash discharge tube is made to enter and an exit surface from which the light beam having entered the entrance surface is made to exit, wherein a plurality of prism portions are arranged at the exit surface of the optical member, and wherein a part of the plurality of prism portions totally reflect a part of the light beam having entered the entrance surface. The totally-reflected light beam returns to the entrance surface or a reflector and is again reflected therefrom to be efficiently radiated toward the subject.

摘要： An illuminating apparatus includes a light source including a cylindrical light-emitting tube, a first optical system, a second optical system, and a third optical system. The first optical system has an incident surface on which light emitted from the light source to the object side are incident and an emergent surface from which the light passing through the incident surface are emitted. The second optical system has a reflecting surface from which light emitted from the light source to a first side are reflected. The third optical system has a reflecting surface from which light emitted from the light source to a second side opposite to the first side are reflected. The first to third optical systems each illuminate the entire illumination area of the object with light emitted from the light source and incident on the optical systems.
