    • Disclosed are a method and a system for adding annotations into an input medium file. The method comprises a step of creating annotation detection models based on training samples formed by existing media files having annotations; a step of extracting coexistence coefficients of any two annotations based on appearance frequencies of the annotations in the training samples; a step of inputting the input medium file; a step of extracting sense-of-vision features from the input medium file; a step of obtaining initial annotations of the input medium file; a step of acquiring candidate annotations based on the initial annotations and the coexistence coefficients of the annotations in the training samples; and a step of selecting a final annotation set from the candidate annotations based on the sense-of-vision features of the input medium file and the coexistence coefficients by using the annotation detection models.

    • When encoding each element in numeral string data, a code-string data creating unit creates code string data by assigning a code to a focused element to be encoded based on a magnitude relation between the focused element and an element adjacent to the focused element. An control unit stores primary data and the code string data as registration information in an associated manner into a storage unit. When searching for the primary data, a data extracting unit and the code-string data creating unit create code string data from image data, and a searching unit searches data stored in the storage unit based on the created code string data as search information for data having registration information that matches the search information.

    • A first image having annotations is segmented into one or more image regions. Image feature vectors and text feature vectors are extracted from all the image regions to obtain an image feature matrix and a text feature matrix. The image feature matrix and the text feature matrix are projected into a sub-space to obtain the projected image feature matrix and the text feature matrix. The projected image feature matrix and the text feature matrix are stored. First links between the image regions, second links between the first image and the image regions, third links between the first image and the annotations, and fourth links between the annotations are established. Weights of all the links are calculated. A graph showing a triangular relationship between the first image, image regions, and annotations is obtained based on all the links and the weights of the links.
