    • A coating machine is provided with an exhaust processor. The exhaust processor includes a collator and a pumping and filtering unit. The collector includes a conduit disposed therein, a drawer movable therein under the funnel and at least one vent defined therein. A lower end of the funnel extends into the drawer so that when exhaust goes into the drawer from the conduit, a major portion of paint carried in the exhaust deposits in the drawer. The pumping and filtering unit includes a filter, at least one pipe and a pump. The pipe connects the filter to the vent. The pump pumps the exhaust to the environment from the coating chamber through the exhaust processor.

    • A safety switch of a socket for an air conditioner includes a box, a fixing base, a lid, a plug and a control switch. The box has a chamber. The fixing base is fixed on a front side of the box, with a socket installed in an intermediate portion. The lid is capped on the fixing base. The plug is installed on a rear side of the box, having a conducting line connected with the socket, and plural plugging terminals formed on an outer wall. The control switch is set in the chamber of the box, having a switch lever extended out from a front side of the box, and two conducting lines for being respectively connected with the plug and the socket of said fixing base. So a plug of an air conditioner is unnecessary to be frequently plugged in and pulled out of a socket.

    • The present invention provides a method for measuring object characteristics, wherein the method is capable of overcoming the interference induced bye the phase difference of the background with respect to the measuring system so as to measure the tiny characteristics such as the retardance or azimuth angle of an object accurately. The method is capable of obtaining two sets of light intensity images having retardance of background and the object respectively by simultaneously rotating the retarding elements and analyzer in various rotating angle combinations, and analyzing and calculating upon the polarized light intensities of the images associated with the background and the object so as to obtain actual retardance and azimuth angle of the object without the affect of the background retardance.
