    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tea tablet producing technology without using an additive, solving such problems that tea tablets made by pulverizing and pressure-molding tea leaves are provided as health food product so as to ingest whole nutrient ingredients contained in tea, but tea tablets which are provided by a conventional technology are added with a tableting additive. SOLUTION: A method for producing the tea tablets comprises using crude tea produced excluding a final rolling process as a first raw material, and using a second raw material which is obtained by processing the first raw material into tea powder having a median diameter of particle size distribution of a prescribed particle size range of 1-100μm using a tea leaf crushing means. The tea tablets having required hardness as tablet can be produced by holding the second raw material in an environment of a prescribed humidity range for at least 1 h just before tabletting work without adding an additive to the second raw material at all, or retaining a humidity environment in tabletting work in the environment with prescribed humidity.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing tea by which tea leaf-products rich in quantity of nutrients and vitamins and causing no loss of chemical effects, reduced in damage to ingredients contained in tea leaves in a tea manufacturing process, by solving such a problem that a finishing rolling process accelerates damage to vitamin C particularly in a finishing rolling process where high temperature (around 400°C) is applied to tea leaves while the heating temperature varies according to tea manufacturing machines in the tea manufacturing process.
      SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing tea skips the finishing rolling process in a series of tea manufacturing processes ranging from steaming raw tea leaves to drying the steamed raw tea leaves.
