摘要： A device for processing and storing data is disclosed, which comprises a primary controller, a primary memory, a security element (SE), and at least one universal port, wherein the device for processing and storing data further includes a first additional port, via which the security element (SE) can directly interacts with a second external device to complete the processing and access of the data. The security element (SE) in the device for processing and storing data disclosed herein can work independently without being effected by the condition whether the primary memory is performing the data read/write process, and supports the single wire protocol (SWP).

摘要： A method and apparatus for testing the functionality of a data decoder is provided. The functionality of a decoder is examined through the used of a functional bitstream. The functional bitstream is a bitstream which when decoded by a properly functioning decoder, produces a desired output. Such a bitstream can be created by receiving an input bitstream, compressing the input bitstream, thereby creating a compressed input bitstream. The compressed input bitstream is then decompressing, thereby creating an intermediate bitstream. The intermediate bitstream is then compressed, thereby creating a compressed intermediate bitstream. The compressed intermediate bitstream is then decompressed, thereby creating an output bitstream. Finally, a comparison is performed to determine if the output bitstream is equivalent to a desired bitstream.

摘要： A method, system, and computer-readable medium for facilitating integrity verification of a transport stream is provided. Integrity verification is performed without increasing the bit rate of the transport stream by generating a checksum corresponding to a portion of the transport stream and inserting the checksum into a null packet within the transport stream. Utilizing a null packet to carry the checksum allows the checksum to be transmitted without increasing the bit rate of the transport stream. In addition, by creating a checksum corresponding to a portion of the transport stream, integrity verification may be performed on a streaming data file.

摘要： A method for propagating an error between video frames of a video stream wherein data in a single macroblock is propagated from a first video frame to a second video frame via inter-frame coding. Once integrated into the second video frame, the macroblock may be utilized as the basis for intra-frame coding within the second video frame. Intra-frame coding within the second video frame allows for any error in the data contained in the macroblock to propagate through the second video frame while minimizing the amount of the second video frame dedicated to propagation the existing error(s). Embodiments of the present invention are directed to the application of stress to a decoder, to cause an error in the decoder, and propagation of the error between video frames of a video stream.
