摘要： PURPOSE:To improve durability and reliability and to perform multipurpose measuring operation by arranging a magnetic float and a magnetic force operating switch atop of a length measurement lanyard formed by bundling a length measurement scale and plural insulated electric wires in one. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic force operating switch 2 is provided to the lower end of the length measurement lanyard 1 consisting of a bundle of insulated electric wires and the length measurement scale, and the magnetic foat 3 placed right under the magnetic force operating switch is attached to and detached from the switch 2 by buoyance. Further, the magnetic float 3 is held by a holder 4 fitted to the lower end of the length measurement lanyard 1. This device is lowered toward a liquid surface from the take-up machine for the lanyard 1 and the magnetic float 3 floats when the holder 4 is dipped in the liquid; and a magnet 3a contacts the magnetic force operating switch 2, whose contact is made. Its signal is sent to the take-up machine through the bundle of insulated electric wires and the length is read on the scale of a measuring tape at this time.

摘要： PURPOSE:To safely measure the height of a liquid level without opening a tank top, by making the up-and-down movement of the upper end of a protective pipe free to insert a rod in the protective pipe in an airtight manner so as to reach the lower end thereof and mounting a stethoscope to the upper end of the rod. CONSTITUTION:An ear plug 5b is mounted to the upper end of a depth measuring rod 4 through a rubber tube 5a to constitute a stethoscope 5. The mount piece 4a with the rubber tube 5a is provided to the leading end of the depth measuring rod 4 and a probe needle 4b is also provided to the lower end of said rod 4. Now, when measurement is performed, the ear plug 5b is applied to an ear and the depth measuring rod 4 is grasped at the upper exposed part to be made to gradually fall to catch the contact point of the measuring rod 4 and a float 3 as the contact sound therebetween and the exposed height of the measuring rod 4 at said point from the protective pipe 2 of said rod 4 is read to be converted to the height of a liquid level and the height of the liquid level in a hermetically closed tank is measured.
