摘要： In drying process, the material to be dried is heated in a chamber (1) and subjected to a vacuum generated by a pump (5). The whole of the vapour removed from the material during the drying process is drawn out of the drying chamber without contact with another medium (1) by the vacuum pump (5), compressed by the pump, and returned for use as a medium to heat the raw material.Also claimed are a drying arrangement having a pressure-tight heated drying chamber connected to the inlet side of a vacuum pump, and the use of a screw-type vacuum pump to generate a vacuum in a drying chamber, to compress the vapour from the dryer, and to feed the compressed vapour back to the drying chamber as a medium to heat the raw material.

摘要： A novel receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase-κ (RPTPκ) protein or glycoprotein and the DNA coding therefor is expressed in a wide variety of mammalian tissues. The RPTPκ protein or glycoprotein may be produced by recombinant means. Antibodies to the protein, methods for measuring the quantity of the protein, methods for screening compounds, such as drugs, which can bind to the protein and inhibit or stimulate their enzymatic activity, are provided. Further, methods for inhibiting homophilic binding of Type II RPTP, especially RPTPκ molecules are provided.

摘要： A vehicle roof with a roof opening and a removable cover for closing the opening of the type wherein the cover is attachable to a roof frame in the vicinity of its forward edge by means of a releasable swivel connection about an axis running at right angles to a lengthwise axis of the vehicle roof and having a rear edge pivotable out of the roof plane, upward and outward, by means of a tilting device that is releasable from the cover is improved by the provision of a safety device for releasing the tilting device from the cover only when the cover is in its closed position. In accordance with a preferred embodiment the safety device includes an unlocking element for releasing the tilting device from the cover which is constructed in the range so as only to be accessible when the cover is closed. In the closed position the unlocking element can be operated by means of a coin or like object so as to be shifted from an engaged or disengaged position.

摘要： A sunroof arrangement is provided which has a releasable sunroof opening cover member which can be moved between a closed position and a tilted position with the rear portion thereof raised above the adjacent vehicle roof panel structure. In order to minimize the space occupied by the tilting structure for the cover member, the same includes a tilting lever pivotally connected by loss-motion pin and slot connections to both of the roof frame structure and the cover member. In addition, the tilting lever is moved by way of a threaded axle and threaded bushing engageable at a position intermediate the pivotal connections of the tilting lever to the cover member and vehicle frame. Spring loaded detachable detent pins are provided at a bracket carried by the cover member for releasably engaging the tilting member.
