    • The invention relates to a heating and air-conditioning system (10) for a motor vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, in order to heat or cool the inside of a motor vehicle during a journey and when the motor vehicle is stationary. The inside of the motor vehicle is divided into a front region and a back region, which can be heated and cooled separately, and comprises a front system (12) which is used to heat and cool the front region during a journey of the motor vehicle, a rear system (14) which is used to heat and cool the rear region during a journey of the motor vehicle and a stationary system (16) which is used to heat and to cool at least the rear region when the motor vehicle is stationary. According to the invention, the stationary system is integrated into the rear system. The invention further relates to a method for heating and air-conditioning a motor vehicle by means of a heating and air-conditioning system (10).

    • Climate control system for the interior of a motor vehicle, with a refrigerating circuit, a first climate control device for at least cooling an interior area of the motor vehicle, and a latent cold storage for at least cooling the interior area of the motor vehicle. The first climate control device has an engine-driven compressor, and the second climate control device has a heat transfer circuit connected to a latent cold storage device. The second climate control device cools the interior area with the engine-driven compressor turned off. A control unit connected to an engine sensor and to a vehicle speedometer can turn off the compressor and cause discharging of cold from the latent cold storage in response to detection of both a vehicle speed below a predetermined vehicle speed value and an engine rpm below a predetermined engine rpm value or a exceeding of a defined high speed rpm.

    • A cold and/or heat accumulator with a plurality of carrier elements which are charged with a cold or heat storage medium, and with at least one heat exchanger which is designed to have a heat transfer medium flow through it in order to cause heat exchange between the cold or heat storage medium and the heat transfer medium. The at least one heat exchanger has a serpentine hollow section, and carrier elements are provided between the legs of the loops of the serpentine hollow section. Two heat exchangers can be provided with the loops of the serpentine hollow section one heat exchanger being interspersed with those of the serpentine hollow section of the other heat exchanger. Preferably, the carrier elements are made of a porous metal foam, and the inlet and outlet for the heat transfer medium are located together at a bottom area at one side of the accumulator.
