摘要： To meet standardised requirements of a footrest for an office workplace, a footrest with a foot plate (40) bearing the resting area (46) and being adjustably mounted between two upright side parts (100, 102) of a supporting device has essentially the following features. At the front of the foot rest, there is provided a bar (90) which supports the front part of the footrest and can be fitted into different through-holes (54, 56, 123, 133) spaced apart from one another in height. At the rear of the footrest, there is provided a bar (80) which supports the rear part of the foot plate (40), is continuously adjustable in height by displacement in slots (52, 125, 135) and can be locked with the aid of threaded screws (82). With this construction, it is possible to set the height and inclination of the resting area (46) independently of one another over a sufficiently large adjustment range. The foot plate (40) and the side parts (100, 102) supporting the foot plate are preferably made of plastic.
