    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support grid appropriately intensified so as to support a media bed in the inside of a vessel body.
      SOLUTION: The media bed support grid comprises a filter panel 12 which is provided with a plurality of filter wires 18 forming a filter surface by parting parallel each other, a plurality of channels disposed under the filter wires, and a manifold 20. A plurality of the channels are disposed approximately vertical to the filter wires, each channel having a bottom wall disposed adjacent to the inner surface of a vessel 14, a side wall supporting the filter wires, an opening part facing the upside, and an opening end facing the direction parallel with a main axis in the lengthwise direction of the channels. The manifold has a manifold wall crossing the main axis in the lengthwise direction of the channels and covers the opening end of the channels. The inside of the manifold is communicated with each opening end of the channels through each opening part extending through the manifold wall.

    • A method for casing a subsea wellbore includes running a tieback casing string into the subsea wellbore using a workstring including first, second, and third wiper plugs. The method further includes: launching a first release plug or tag into the workstring; pumping cement slurry into the workstring, thereby driving the first release plug or tag along the workstring; after pumping the cement slurry, launching a second release plug or tag into the workstring; and pumping chaser fluid into the workstring, thereby driving the release plugs or tags and cement slurry through the workstring. The release plugs or tags engage and release the respective wiper plugs from the workstring. The first wiper plug or release plug ruptures, thereby allowing the cement slurry to flow therethrough. The method further includes: stabbing the tieback casing string into a liner string; and retrieving the workstring, the workstring still including the third wiper plug.

    • A system for fracturing a hydrocarbon bearing formation includes a valve including a tubular housing having a bore therethrough and one or more flow ports formed through a wall thereof. One or more locator tags are embedded in the housing, and a sleeve is disposed in the housing and movable relative thereto between an open and a closed position. The system also includes a shifting tool comprising a shifter movable between an extended position and a retracted position and operable to engage the valve sleeve. The shifting tool includes a lock that keeps the shifter extended in the locked position and allows the shifter to retract in the unlocked position. The shifting tool also includes an antenna for detecting the locator tags, and an electronics package in communication with the antenna and the actuator for operating the actuator in response to detection of the locator tags.
