摘要： The invention concerns a filler device for an air bag (2) for collision protection in a motor vehicle. The filler device comprises a gas reservoir (3) connected to the air bag (2) via a filler opening (6). Disposed in the flow path between the filler opening (6) and the gas reservoir (3) is a closure plate (10) which closes a gas outlet opening (8) in the gas reservoir (3) and can be opened by an electric triggering device (20). According to the invention, the closure plate (10) is part of an electric circuit to which the triggering device (20) can apply a current pulse in order to open the closure plate (10). In this way, an air bag can be filled completely in fractions of a second without using explosives and generating hot gases.

摘要： The invention relates to a cold gas generator for an airbag system with a reservoir (1), filled with a gas (2) under pressure. The cold gas generator comprises a gas outlet opening (3), which in the non-operating state is pressure-sealed with thin-walled sealing disc (4). The sealing disc (4) is supported against the gas pressure working thereon by a support device (5). A release mechanism (6) which affects the support device (5) is provided, comprising a pressure plate (7) lying on the sealing disc (4) and a support lever (8), supporting the pressure plate (7) together with the sealing disc (4). The pressure plate (7) and the support lever (8) are separately formed. The support lever (8) is mounted in a bearing position (9), in a manner such that it may rotate and with load transfer in the direction of pressure but not loaded in the direction perpendicular thereto. The release mechanism (6) actions the support lever on rotating about the bearing position (9).
