    • A system and a method for generating a plurality of noise-deteriorated images from an image displayable on a computer display for deterring unauthorized reuse of the image (410) is disclosed. The system relates to transforming an image displayable on a computer display into a plurality of frequency components, and generating a noise sequence for each frequency components (440), and generating a noise sequence (420) for each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components, each noise sequence having a plurality of noise numbers (430). The system also relates to selecting, in relation to a first noise-deteriorated image, a first noise number from each noise sequence, and deteriorating each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components using the first noise number from each noise sequence corresponding to each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components to form a noise-deteriorated frequency component in a first plurality of noise-deteriorated frequency components (450). The system further relates to transforming the first plurality of noise-deteriorated frequency components into the first noise-deteriorated image (460) for displaying on the computer display.

    • A disc recliner for a seat assembly includes a guide plate and a tooth plate rotatably coupled to the guide plate. A rotatable shaft moves a pawl between a first position engaging the tooth plate to prevent pivotal movement of the seat back and a second position disengaged with the tooth plate to allow pivotal movement of the seat back. A leaf spring extends between a first end secured to the guide plate and a second end having a convex curve portion engaging a lobe on the shaft. The spring biases the shaft in a first direction to maintain the pawl in the first position. Rotation of the shaft in a second direction moves the pawl from the first position to the second position as the lobe pushes against and rides along the convex curve portion of the spring, thereby controlling an actuation effort of the disc recliner.

    • A disc recliner includes a fixed plate having a plurality of outer teeth and a movable plate having a plurality of inner teeth meshingly engageable with the outer teeth to allow rolling movement of the movable plate relative to the fixed plate. A pair of wedges defining an eccentric is rotatably mounted between the fixed and movable plates and rotation of the wedges causes the rolling movement of the movable plate. An anchor is disposed between the wedges for rotation therewith. A lock plate is coupled to the anchor and is movable between a locked position engaged with the fixed plate to prevent rotation of the wedges and an unlocked position disengaged with the fixed plate to permit rotation of the wedges. A cam actuates the lock plate from the locked position to the unlocked position and rotates the wedges thereby causing the rolling movement of the movable plate.

The method includes allowing the query to detect whether a redo lock is present on a data item and if so, waiting until subsequent rollback operations release the lock. If another user has placed an exclusive lock on a data item of the database (240), the query may continue by reading a version of the data item form the version store (230). In an embodiment where a mirror database is used for recovery, the constant redo operations have an associated version store. Upon failover to the mirror database, queries may begin during the undo phase of recovery by allowing a query to read the version store of redo operations.
