Such printed substrates can be used, for example, in the manufacture of printed diaper components, such as backsheets, topsheets, landing zones, fasteners, ears, absorbent cores, and acquisition layers. Embodiments of the apparatuses and methods disclosed herein utilize flexographic printing to provide for a sequential manufacture of a series of n absorbent articles having different graphics printed thereon, wherein n can be a number of 2 or greater. In addition, an absorbent product may be produced by placing one or more, or a portion, of the series of n absorbent articles in a package.

摘要： A package (10) formed of polymer film and containing disposable diapers (30) is disclosed. The package (10) comprises a bag having front and rear panels (20a, 20b) formed of polymer film. Each of the panels (20a, 20b) has an inner surface and an outer surface. The bag also has a bottom end portion (11) at which the front and rear panels (20a, 20b) are directly or indirectly joined by one or more welds, and a top end portion (12) that is openable and recloseable. The top end portion (12) comprises a first zip-lock component (15a) joined to the inner surface of the front panel (20a) and an opposing second zip-lock component (15b) joined to the inner surface of the rear panel (20b). The first zip-lock component (15a) and the second zip-lock component (15b) are cooperative and operable to engage each other and hold the top end portion (12) closed, and to disengage each other and allow the top end portion (12) to open, to enable the top end portion (12) to be repeatedly opened and reclosed by a user. The package (10) further comprises respective top extending portions of the front and rear panels (20a, 20b) each extending upwardly beyond the zip-lock components (15a, 15b). Each of the top extending portions has a handle cut (21; 22) therethrough. The first zip-lock component (15a) and the second zip-lock component (15b) in a closed configuration have an inside opening resistance of from 0.79N/cm to 48N/cm as determined by the Inside Opening Resistance Measurement Method as defined herein.
