    • The invention provides a swan-neck delivery spout 6 for delivering water from a tap 4 to the mouth of the spout 6, in which a swivel coupling between the spout 6 and the tap 4 allows the spout 6 to be readily replaced. The spout 6 contains a packing material 7 for filtering, disinfecting or chemically treating the water. To change the water treatment material 7 when its activity is exhausted requires simple removal of the old delivery spout 6 and replacement with a new delivery spout 6 containing fresh treatment material 7.
      The invention also provides a filtration unit 1 for providing filtered and deionized water to a location above a sink, comprising an under-sink filter unit 2 for filtering water from a mains supply 3 and delivering the filtered water to a dispensing tap 4, and a delivery spout 6 for delivering the filtered water from the tap 4 to the location above the sink, in which the delivery spout 6 is packed with an ion exchange resin 7 and is replaceable when the resin has exhausted its ion exchange function.

    • Frames of video signals are stored in frame memories (A-H). Multiplexor (31), chooses one of the digital signals to be the reference video signal. This reference signal is then subtracted from each of the stored video signals in difference circuits (37). Comparators (36) are used to insure that the difference signal is in the allowable range. Any signals which are out of range are omitted by the frame omit logic (43). The remaining frame video signals are added together by adder (39) and normalized to the existing number of frames by multiplexor (45). This normalized signal is then added to the reference signal by adder (33) to achieve the average of the video frame signals. By such averaging, since the noise is random, it is filtered out leaving only the desired picture. The averaging is performed only on areas of the picture which are close in both amplitude and color in adjacent frames. In this connection, in cases where there is no motion or scene changes between adjacent frames, the entire picture corresponding to such frames can be processed according to the present invention.

A cet égard, dans les cas où il n'y a pas de mouvement ou de changements de scène entre les blocs adjacents, la totalité de l'image correspondant à ces blocs peut être traitée selon la présente invention.
