摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure health monitoring system for a marine composite riser sequence.SOLUTION: Respective riser pipe sections 31 include cylindrical shapes having axes A and carbon epoxy base materials 37. A sensor 38 is correlated with the riser pipe section and encircles the riser pipe section by virtually circumscribing it. The sensor includes polyvinylidene laminates 35 and electrodes 36, and generates electricity to the electrodes in response to mechanical stress and distortion in riser sections including vibration. The system includes a data collection system and a digital signal analyzer for analyzing a signal in response to electricity generated to the electrodes of the sensor and performing health monitoring and damage detection for a marine riser pipe sequence. The system further includes a underwater energy accumulation device and a plurality of underwater weak electricity mechanical devices combined with the underwater energy accumulation device.

The piston 23' also includes an override chamber 57 for deployment when the piston 23' is in the axially downward position. In the event of the seals around the piston 23' failing, fluid is injected into the override chamber to move the piston upward so as to unlock the connector. The chamber may be defined by a secondary piston 53 and a passage 47 may be formed through the main piston 23' for transmitting the fluid.

摘要： In a subsea wellhead assembly, a connector attaches a production riser or subsea tree to a wellhead housing. The connector includes a piston that cams a plurality of dogs into and out of engagement with the wellhead housing while sliding axially upward and downward relative to the wellhead housing. The piston is typically actuated by injecting hydraulic fluid into either an upper chamber or lower chamber to move the piston axially up or down. While in the axially downward, or locked position, the piston houses an override chamber. Hydraulic fluid is injected into the override chamber to move the piston axially upward and unlock the connector when the seals of the lower chamber fail.

摘要： A subsea wellhead assembly has a tubing hanger with a tubing annulus passage and a production passage. A metal-sealing shuttle valve is mounted in the tubing hanger for blocking upward flow through the tubing annulus passage. The shuttle valve has a retention mechanism that prevents the shuttle from moving to the open position when fluid pressure is applied from above. The retention mechanism is released by the running tool after testing has been completed, causing the shuttle to close. The tree has an engaging member that can be stroked downward into the tubing hanger annulus passage to move the shuttle valve to the open position for communicating with the annulus.
