    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce burning that may be caused outside eyes by making a surface dent inward recessed from the light-emitting surface, which is formed to have a slightly larger radius of curvature than that of average human cornea, and by protecting out this dent, as a spacing from the cornea epithelium is kept remained at a state of making a jet-out surface contact with the sclera. CONSTITUTION: The incident surface 12 of lens is flat, and has a relation of right-angle to the optical axis of the lens that agrees with the optical axis of eyes. The light- emitting surface 26 gets a contact with the sclera 27 connected adjacently to the cornea 42 and surrounding it. A dent 28 with a slightly larger diameter than that of the cornea 42 protects the cornea 42, as a spacing from the cornea 42 is kept remained in such a state that it does not touch the cornea epithelium. An opaque button 32 at the lens center prevents the light from entering into eyes 25 along the optical axis throughout a fairly-long distance at both sides of the optical axis. Neither the scattering light nor laser light from the light source of a microscope can, therefore, enter into the optical part of the eyes. Since this reduces the hyperemia of conjunctive, absorption of the laser energy at this level is suppressed as much as possibly to reduce a frequency of burning the conjunctiva.
