摘要： An exemplary fire suppression system includes a sprinkler nozzle. At least one conduit is connected to the nozzle for delivering a fire suppression fluid to the nozzle. The conduit and the nozzle establish a discharge path. A pneumatically driven pump is connected with the conduit for pumping fluid into the conduit. A gas source provides pressurized gas to the pump for driving the pump. The gas source also provides gas to the discharge path for achieving a desired discharge of the fluid from the nozzle.

摘要： A method and system for recovering oil is used in an organic rankine cycle (ORC) system to recover oil from an evaporator of the ORC system and return the oil to an oil sump. The ORC system includes an evaporator, a turbine, a condenser and a pump, and is configured to circulate a refrigerant through the ORC system. The oil recovery system includes a recovery line configured to remove a mixture of oil and refrigerant from the evaporator. The mixture of oil and refrigerant passes through a heat exchanger in order to vaporize liquid refrigerant in the mixture and produce a mixture of oil and vaporized refrigerant. A delivery line is configured to deliver the mixture of oil and vaporized refrigerant to the turbine, at which point the oil may be separated from the vaporized refrigerant and recycled back to the oil sump.

An electric machine is secured inside of the rotor blade body that rotates a motor shaft. A transmission device is secured to the motor shaft and the control flap that transfers rotary motion of the motor shaft to the control flap to generate movement of the control flap through its range of motion. The transmission device remains substantially within the confined space throughout the range of motion.

摘要： A clutch for an electronic door lock includes a first shaft, a second shaft, a spring, a rheological fluid, and a plunger. The second shaft has an aperture therein and is axially co-aligned with the first shaft and is rotatably mounted adjacent the rotatable first shaft. The spring is disposed in the aperture in the second shaft. The rheological fluid is held within the aperture and is capable of changing viscosities in response to the application of an electrical current across the fluid. The plunger is biased by the spring into selective coupling engagement with the first shaft and is capable of selective motion into the aperture in response to contact by a camming surface of the first shaft due to relative rotation of the first shaft with respect to the second shaft.

摘要： A system for producing power using an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) includes a turbine, a generator, an evaporator, an electric heater, an inverter system and an organic Rankine cycle (ORC) voltage regulator. The turbine is coupled to the generator for producing electric power. The evaporator is upstream of the turbine and the electric heater is upstream of the evaporator. The evaporator provides a vaporized organic fluid to the turbine. The electric heater heats the organic fluid prior to the evaporator. The inverter system is coupled to the generator. The inverter system transfers electric power from the generator to a load. The ORC voltage regulator is coupled to the inverter system and to the electric heater and it diverts excess electrical power from the inverter system to the electric heater.

摘要： An actuator for an electronic door lock includes a stationary first magnet assembly, a beam, and a second magnet assembly. The first magnet includes at least one magnet stationarily positioned within the electronic door lock. The beam is movable relative to the first magnet assembly to a first position and a second position. The second magnet assembly is connected to the beam and is configured to be magnetically repulsed away from the first magnet assembly. The repulsion of the second magnet assembly maintains the beam in either the first or second position until the beam is selectively actuated therefrom.
