    • A driving method for an electrophoretic display including first electrodes, a second electrode, and electrophoretic particles positioned in pixel areas, includes applying a reset voltage to the particles, applying a reset compensation voltage having an opposite polarity to that of the reset voltage to the particles after applying the reset voltage, applying an image displaying compensation voltage having a same polarity as the reset compensation voltage to the particles positioned in at least one of the pixel areas after applying the reset compensation voltage, and applying an image displaying voltage having an opposite polarity to that of the image displaying compensation voltage to the particles positioned in the at least one of the pixel areas. Accordingly, the pixel electrode may be refreshed without inversed images such that the display performance of the electrophoretic display may be improved.

    • A method for driving an electrophoresis display device includes applying a reset voltage having a first polarity to electrophoresis material of the display device for at least one frame period to display a reset image, applying a first gradation voltage having a second polarity opposite to the first polarity to the electrophoresis material for one frame period to display a first grey image after the reset image is displayed, applying a second gradation voltage having the second polarity to the electrophoresis material corresponding to at least one pixel region of the display device for at least two frame periods to display a second grey image, after the first grey image is displayed; and applying a third gradation voltage having the first polarity to the electrophoresis material corresponding to at least one pixel region for one frame period to display a third grey image, after the second grey image is displayed.

    • A touch sensitive display device has a driving apparatus. The driving apparatus includes at least one of a plurality of stages, and each stage includes an input section, a middle processing unit, an output voltage generator, and an output path selection unit. The input section outputs a first voltage in response to an output signal from a previous stage or a scanning start signal. The middle processing unit outputs a second voltage in response to one of the plurality of clock signals or an output signal from a next stage. The output voltage generator charges the first voltage and generates the output signal in response to the first voltage from the input section and the second voltage from the middle processing unit. The output path selecting unit selects an output path for the output signal from the output voltage generator. Accordingly, the structure of the display device can be simplified.
