    • A dynamo-electric machine formed by providing a stator (2) so as to surround an outer circumference of a rotary shaft (1), and mounting a pair of rotors (3N, 3S) integrally on the portions of the rotary shaft (1) which are on both sides of the stator (2); and a generator and a motor which use this dynamo-electric machine. One rotor (3N) is provided with magnetic poles of an N-polarity, and the other rotor (3S) the same number of magnetic poles of an S-polarity, the magnetic poles of these rotors being arranged at equiangular intervals so that the magnetic poles of these rotors are opposed to each other in the axial direction of the rotary shaft (1). The stator (2) has twice as many cores as the number of the magnetic poles provided on one rotor, magnetic poles formed at both ends of these cores, and coils wound around the cores, the magnetic poles at both ends of the cores being arranged at equiangular intervals so that these magnetic poles are opposed to the magnetic poles of the rotors via air clearances. Owing to this construction, the magnetic poles of the rotor (3N, 3S) can be formed into flat surfaces, so that a magnetic flux can be set uniform. Moreover, the axial length of the stator (2) can be reduced, and this enables an iron loss and leakage magnetic flux to decrease.

    • A rotary electric apparatus; and a generator and a motor respectively using the rotary electric apparatus. Said rotary electric apparatus comprises a rotary shaft (1), a stator (2) being disposed by way of surrounding external periphery of the shaft (1), and a pair of rotors (3N) and (3S) integrally disposed onto the shaft at both-side positions of the stator (2). The rotor (3N) comprises a plurality of N-polar magnetic poles and the other rotor (3S) comprises S-polar magnetic poles by the same number as that of the rotor (3N). The N and S magnetic poles set to the rotors are disposed at equal angles in the state of being opposed to each other in the axial direction of the shaft (1). The stator (2) comprises cores that correspond to double number of magnetic poles of each rotor, magnetic-pole portions formed at both ends of said cores, and coils wound on said cores. The magnetic-pole portions both ends are respectively disposed at equal angles in the state of being opposed to the magnetic poles of the rotors via air-gap. By virtue of the above structure, magnetic poles provided for the rotors (3N)(3S) can be formed with flat surfaces, thus securing even magnetic flux. Further, as a result of contraction of the stator (2) in the axial direction, iron loss and leakage flux can securely be minimized.

    • In a server-client system, a server provides a Web site and a function to record access logs using Web beacon technology, and a client terminal communicatable with the server includes a browser to execute JavaScript by dynamically embedding a 1-pixel image file that is dynamically added with a random parameter to a source of a tag element in a tag element. The random parameter may include at least current time data acquired in the client terminal. The server may read the requested 1-pixel image file from the Web site, and transfer the 1-pixel image file in HTML to the client terminal, and concurrently record a log including the random parameter in addition to information recordable by the Web beacon technology.

    • A plurality of sets of hierarchical perceptrons (1i) are disposed in parallel, and each perceptron is configured to execute a processing equivalent to a numerical formula corresponding to an input/output relationship by learning. Next, it is configured to include a partial differential function of the numerical formula by learning on the basis of the difference between cumulative value of the function value output and a teacher pattern and the difference between a partial differential value corresponding to the function value output and a partial differential teacher pattern. Thereafter, the outputs of a plurality of sets of hierarchical perceptrons (1i) are cumulatively added, and correction is made at the input stages of the hierarchical perceptrons corresponding to an unknown numeric quantity on the basis of the difference between the cumulative value and the measurement value and on the basis of the partial differential value of the cumulative value. The correction values at the input stages are collected when this difference becomes sufficiently small, and an unknown numeric value is estimated.
