    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To participate almost in real time in an actual marathon race or the like and to accurately determine the order while reducing a load concentrated on a communication network, and moreover to display realistic images in a system for carrying out a virtual race by connecting a momentum measuring system for detecting momentum performed in a fixed position to compute virtual moving speed and moving distance, to a communication line by each of a plurality of users.SOLUTION: Each momentum measuring system (hereinafter referred to as a terminal) individually displays a start signal at a start scheduled time of the actual race, then computes a virtual accumulated moving distance from the momentum performed by the user, and transmits time required to reach a goal point, as a required time to a server. The server totals the required time and transmits it to the terminal. The terminal computes the order of the user from the totaled required time and displays it. Scenery on a course photographed beforehand is transmitted from the server before the start scheduled time and stored in the terminal. The stored scenery on the course is displayed according to the accumulated moving distance and moving speed.
