    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of secateurs capable of demonstrating strong cutting power when cutting with a part to the edge of a blade body.
      SOLUTION: This pair of secateurs is a type of setting rotatably a handle 2 with a receiving blade 1 and a handle 4 with a cutting blade 3 in a X-shape around a pivot. The secateurs have such a mechanism that a toggle mechanism is set so as to bring the receiving blade 1 and the cutting blade 3 to a cutting structure when operating, the edge of an expanding and contracting operative mechanism 12 is connected with the passive joint part 8 of the toggle mechanism, a pressurizing link mechanism which advances forward with the closing motion of the handles 2 and 4 is attached to both the handles 2 and 4, and the driving edge 11 of the pressurizing link mechanism is connected with the back edge of the expanding and contracting operative mechanism. The expanding and contracting operative mechanism 12 compresses a compression spring 15 to a certain extent and releases accumulated energy all at once to add to the passive joint part 8 of the toggle mechanism and to further enhance with the toggle mechanism.
