摘要： A high molecular electret film which comprises an electret film of a blend of a poly(2,6-dialkyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) consisting of a recurring unit represented by the following general formula (1), ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl group having not more than 4 carbon atoms, and a styrene resin. The electret film exhibits vary favorable electric charge-retaining property and favorable adhesiveness to metals. The film is very effectively used for a developing sleeve in an electrophotographic apparatus, for a cleaning device, for a transfer device, etc. and exhibits desired effects stably and for extended periods of time.

摘要： A ghost canceler having first and second terminal groups. The first terminal group is coupled to a television receiver and the second terminal group is available for coupling to a video tape recorder (VTR). The first terminal group includes terminals for receiving an original video signal from the television to be ghost canceled, commands for causing ghost canceling processing to be carried out, information regarding television channel changes and sound signals from the television receiver. The first terminal group also includes an output terminal for transmitting to the television receiver the original video signal as it is within a period in which the input terminal group does not receive the commands for performing the ghost canceling processing, or a predetermined period immediately after the input terminal group receives information about the switch of the channels, the output terminal transmitting to the television receiver a video signal ghost canceled with respect to the original video signal at other times. The second terminal group including a video output terminal for outputting the ghost canceled video signal or the original video signal received from the television receiver to the VTR and sound terminals for outputting a sound signal received from the television receiver as is to the VTR.

摘要： A method for tinting a water-absorptive contact lens to have a mark tinted thereon, which comprises superimposing on a water-absorptive contact lens in the dry state a screen provided with a tinting pattern corresponding to the mark to be tinted on the contact lens, applying to the contact lens through the tinting pattern of the screen a dye solution containing a vat dye and an alkaline reducing agent, followed by insolubilizing the vat dye.
