摘要： A reduced height wire to board connector assembly includes mating plug and receptacle connectors. The receptacle connector has an internal recess which opens vertically and receives a plug connector therein. Wires are terminated to terminals of the plug connector and they extend out through a wire insertion portion in one of the sidewalls of the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector has a conductive member supported thereby and this fixing member provides a ground connection and a retaining function to the receptacle connector. The plug connector has insulation displacement type terminals and two wire clamps to retain the wires terminated thereto in place.

摘要： A board-to-board electrical connector assembly includes a first connector having a dielectric housing for mounting on a first printed circuit board for receiving a plug portion of a second connector mounted on a second printed circuit board. The connectors are mateable in a mating direction. A plurality of first conductive terminals are mounted on the housing of the first connector along the receptacle for engaging a plurality of second conductive terminals mounted along the plug portion of the second connector. A first retention member is mounted on one of the connectors and is engageable with a second retention member on the other connector in the mating direction. The first retention member includes a flexible engaging portion which extends in a direction generally perpendicular to the mating direction. The second retention member includes a rigid engaging portion for engaging and flexing the flexible engaging portion to hold the connectors in mated condition.

摘要： A shielded electrical connector is provided for terminating a plurality of coaxial cables, each cable including an inner conductor surrounded by a dielectric cover and an outer conductive shield. The connector includes a dielectric housing having a mating end and a terminating end. A plurality of terminals are mounted on the housing and include mating portions located generally at the mating end of the housing and terminating portions terminated to the inner conductors of the cables. A conductive clamp is secured to the housing in clamping engagement with the conductive shields of the cables. A conductive shell is mounted over the housing in engagement with the conductive clamp to electrically couple the cable shields to the shell.

The ear pad comprises a cylindrical body portion and an elastically deformable portion. The cylindrical body portion has a sound guide hole formed therein, being adapted to cause a sound to impinge on the ear. The deformable portion is connected to a tip of the body portion and spreads from the tip toward a rear end of the body portion, and includes a plurality of slit-shaped openings radially extending therefrom. The body portion includes grooves axially extending therefrom, corresponding to the openings in the outer peripheral surface of the body portion. Each opening overlaps with a corresponding groove in cases where the elastically deformable portion is deformed and pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the body portion.

摘要： A board-to-board connector for mating with another connector has a housing and a plurality of terminals. The terminals and housing interact at a reference surface to accurately locate the terminals relative to the housing. The housing includes an elongated recess that extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing and has a plurality of terminal receiving cavities spaced therealong. Each cavity includes a terminal retention wall with a reference surface on one side thereof and a terminal alignment opening extending from the cavity. Each terminals is disposed in a terminal receiving cavity. Each terminal includes a U-shaped retention portion, an L-shaped resilient contact portion extending from the U-shaped retention portion and has a contact projection thereon. A tail portion for interconnection to a circuit member is also provided. The U-shaped retention portion includes first and second spaced apart legs and a connecting portion therebetween with the U-shaped retention portion dimensioned to securely receive the terminal retention wall of the housing between the spaced apart legs. The first leg is positioned along and engages the reference surface in order to accurately position the terminal within the terminal receiving cavity, and a terminal alignment projection extends from the U-shaped retention portion and projects into the terminal alignment opening to further position and secure the terminal within the cavity.
