摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect use on the either side a width direction (or a lateral direction) by changing the mounting position of a cutting edge by a method wherein the mounting parts of grinding blades are arranged on the two edges in a vertical shaft rotation direction of a grinding blade support part, and a mounting part on one edge side and a mounting part on the other edge side correspond to each other, and are arranged in a position relation oppositely facing to the vertical shaft rotation direction. SOLUTION: This grinding main body 1 is provided with the mounting parts 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d, 6e, 6f, 6g, and 6h of grinding blades 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, 4e, 4f, 4g, and 4h respectively mounted on the two edges 3A', 3B', 3C', 3A', 3B', and 3C' in a vertical shaft rotation direction of grinding blade support parts 3A, 3B, and 3C. The mounting parts 6a or 6h on one edge sides 3A', 3B', and 3C' and mounting part 6a and 6h on the other edges 3A", 3B", and 3C" sides correspond to each other and are arranged in a position relation oppositely facing to the vertical shaft rotation direction.

CONSTITUTION: A device substrate 24 is disposed in upright on the front end side of a machine base 1 capable of being forwarded or retreated along a rail R. A first support disk 25 vertically moved by operating a first driving motor 27 is installed to the device substrate 24, and a second support disk laterally moved by working a second driving motor 30 is assembled to the first support disk. A driving motor 35 for grinding and a cutter body 37 linked with the driving motor 35 are mounted on the front of the second support disk in a horizontal-shaft rotatable manner. An engaging section, with which the head section R' of the rail R is engaged, is fitted to the cutter body 37. Grinding blades grinding each of the top face, arcuate surface and side faces of the rail head section R' are set up to the engaging section.

摘要： PURPOSE:To smoothly grind a rail in a short time without steps in the ground rail, by equipping mutually engaging gears on a rotary shaft of two grinding bodies to grind each end of a rail. CONSTITUTION:Mutually engaging gears 4, 4 are equipped at the rotary shaft 5 of a grinder 1 to grind a half in the width direction of a track rail and at the rotary shaft 5 of a grinder 1' to grind the other half respectively. And cutting blades 3a-3f of which rotary tracks are mutually superposed between the grinders 1, 1' are provided at the grinders 1, 1'. Recessed lines 2... are made to correspond to the head R' of track rail R in the grinder 1, 1' and an appropriate number of cutting blades may be detachably fitted in the recessed line 2. And hence, the grinders 1, 1' rotate with the same number of revolutions because of the engagement of the gears 4 and the head of rail can be ground evenly on the right and left sides.
