    • Provided is a driving module, including: a tubular or cylindrical body to be driven (4); a cylindrical support (5) for housing the body to be driven therein; a pair of plate spring members (6, 7) for elastically holding the body to be driven so that the body to be driven is movable in a fixed direction relative to the support; and driving means (10) for driving the body to be driven against a recovering force of the plate spring members, in which the plate spring members includes the first plate spring member (6) positioned on a side which does not receive a force generated by the driving means and the second plate spring member (7) positioned on the opposite side of the body to be driven from the first plate spring member, a spring constant of the first plate spring member being larger than that of the second spring member.

    • The driving module controls the supply of current to a shape memory alloy member by setting a command value for an electrical resistance of the shape memory alloy member so that the lens frame is moved intermittently to thereby controlling the driving of driving means. The driving module includes control means which includes resistance detection means, command value generation means, and current supplying means. The command value generation means changes the command value gradually by a predetermined variation width ΔR so that the electrical resistance of the shape memory alloy member increases or decreases gradually by a predetermined width when the lens frame is moved intermittently. Moreover, the command value generation means performs a correction calculation which uses the ratio of an actual reference value R0 of the electrical resistance of the shape memory alloy member to an ideal reference value Rstan of the electrical resistance of the shape memory alloy member as a correction ratio to calculate a correction variation width by multiplying the correction ratio by an ideal variation width Rstep of the command value Rt(n) to thereby change the command value Rt(n) gradually using the correction variation width as the variation width ΔR.

    • An electric motor has a rotor having an end portion and a recessed portion formed at the end portion. A rotational shaft is mounted to the rotor. A stator covers an outer peripheral portion of the rotor and forms a magnetic field that generates a torque around the rotational shaft to thereby rotate the rotational shaft and the rotor. A bearing rotatably supports the rotational shaft and is entirely spaced-apart from the end portion of the rotor in an axial direction of the rotational shaft. A slider is slidably mounted around the rotational shaft and supports rotation of the rotational shaft about a rotational axis thereof. The slider is interposed between the bearing and the rotor so that a portion of the slider is entirely contained in the recessed portion of the rotor and the remaining portion of the slider is disposed in the space between the bearing and the rotor and in contact with the bearing.

    • In order to restrain rising of a lens frame due to an ambient environmental temperature and occurrence of an inclination of the lens frame during transmission of no electricity to a shape memory alloy wire, proposed is a drive module including: a lens frame; a supporting member for storing the lens frame; leaf spring members for elastically holding the lens frame so that the lens frame would be movable with respect to the supporting member; a shape memory alloy wire for driving the lens frame toward one leaf spring member against restoring force of the leaf spring members by contraction due to generation of heat in turning on the electricity; and a bias spring member for urging the lens frame toward a base plate through a locking portion to make the lens frame come in contact with the base plate through the other leaf spring member, the drive module wherein the lens frame is provided with a pre-pressure portion for generating urging force for initially deforming one leaf spring member to urge the lens frame toward the base plate and for holding a balance with the bias spring member in the case of no electricity transmitted to the shape memory alloy wire to keep the contact condition of the lens frame.
