    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing meat with bone enabling production of meat processed food which has favorable appearance and also bone in which is eatable all. SOLUTION: The method for processing meat with bone comprises soaking meat with bone in desalted deep sea water, pulling out the meat from the deep sea water followed by putting the meat in an air-tight sealed container with a small amount of air left, and heating the meat under pressure. The method results in making water get into the bone during so-called retort treatment, and thereby causing no breakage on the bone so as to make the bone keep its shape while a certain degree of strength of the bone is maintained. Also the desalted water contains no salt and thereby the salt content does not get mixed in the bone. Further, a large amount of minerals falling in the deep sea water are taken into the processed food, and thereby the taste of the food gets mild and the minerals apt to run short can be supplied through eating the meat processed food.
