摘要： The pharmaceutical composition of the present invention comprises a carbostyril derivative which is a dopamine-sero-tonin system stabilizer and a mood stabilizer in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The carbostyril derivative may be aripiprazole or a metabolite thereof. The mood stabilizer may include but is not limited to lithium, valproic acid, divalproex sodium, carbamaza-pine, oxcarbamazapine, zonisamide, lamotragine, topiramate, gabapentin, levetiracetam or clonazepam. These compositions are used to treat patients with mood disorders, particularly bipolar disorder with or without psychotic features, mania or mixed episodes. Methods are provided for separate administration of a carbostyril derivative and a mood stabilizer to a patient with a mood disorder.

摘要： An alarm sound according to the distance of a dangerous object exiting around a vehicle is created. A reference sound which enables a driver to recognize the distance of the dangerous object when the driver hears the alarm sound, comparing with the reference sound, is created. The alarm sound and the reference sound are generated at the same time or a different timing. It is preferable that the sound volume of the alarm sound be greater than that of the reference sound. Accordingly, the driver can be warned precisely of the distance of the dangerous object from the vehicle with the sound.

摘要： A display processing device for displaying a display object in a display window and changing a display range includes a sectioning unit that divides the display window into a plurality of sections (screens) by creating boundary lines. Maps of geographical ranges to be displayed are sectioned and displayed in the plurality of screens. In the event that a boundary line is moved through a user input, the geographical ranges of the maps in the screens for which the screen size has become larger than an initial screen size are enlarged, and the maps in the screens which have become smaller than the initial screen size are reduced in scale in accordance with the reduction in screen size, while maintaining the geographical range of the maps displayed in the display window prior to the boundary line being moved.

摘要： A master slave manipulator system includes a master arm having six or more axes of motion and an articulated slave arm having six or more axes of motion and being shaped in sharp contrast with the master arm. The master arm has an arm body with three axes perpendicular to each other and a wrist assembly connected to the arm body. The wrist assembly has a gripper disposed in a space of a size large enough for an operator to operate the gripper with his clutched hand in X, Y and Z directions and also has a pitch-axis, a yaw-axis and a roll-axis all disposed outside of the space. The pitch-axis, yaw-axis and roll-axis have output axes directed toward the gripper. The slave arm has an arm body with axes longitudinally stretchable or foldable into parallel positions, and a wrist assembly having three axes disposed in a space of predetermined dimensions in X, Y and Z directions. The output axes of the three axes of the slave arm wrist assembly are directed away from the mounting portions of these axes. The slave arm is so controlled as to follow movements of the master arm.
