    • Electric field intensity of a signal corresponding to a plurality of receivers and received through antennas are converted into direct currents. The converted direct currents thus converted are fed to an electric field level detection circuit. The electric field level detection circuit detects the electric field level on the basis of the direct currents of respective receivers and feeds a detection signal to a control portion. The control portion compares the electric field level corresponding to the direct current value in said controller with a predetermined electric field level to make judgement that the received electric field is a strong electric field and stable. Then, a command is issued to keep one of the receivers, at which the higher electric field level is detected and to turn off other receiver. An electric power source control portion performs switching of the switch portions corresponding to respective of the receivers to supply only one of the receiver from a power source and to block power supply from the power source to other receivers.

    • The present invention provides a portable terminal which can easily start processing for data selected to be processed, a method for starting data processing, and a method for transferring data.A cell phone terminal 11 includes a sensor 22 detecting change in posture or physical movement of the present terminal. The cell phone terminal 11 includes an interface for selecting, by a user, arbitrary data from data stored beforehand in a memory 15. When the sensor 22 detects the change in posture or physical movement of the present terminal in a state that any data are selected by an interface, a predetermined operation is performed on the selected data as a target to be processed.

    • A mobile radio communication device for performing communication with a base station comprises an interference detection measure for detecting occurrence of interference to the downlink frequency and/or the uplink frequency, and an interference informing measure for transmitting information about the occurrence of the interference to the base station. The base station which received the information about the interference assigns the mobile radio communication device new time slots or a new communication carrier frequency. The mobile radio communication device has a transmission system and two reception systems which are composing a post-detection selective space diversity system, and each of the two reception systems is composed of a double superheterodyne system, in the same way as general conventional mobile radio communication devices. Interference to the downlink frequency is detected utilizing the data error rate in the demodulated reception signal in one reception system, and interference to the uplink frequency is detected utilizing the field intensity of a radio wave having the uplink frequency received by an antenna of the other reception system. The detection and informing of interference is realized by addition of a simple circuit composed of a circulator, a high frequency amplifier, a mixer and a switch to a general conventional mobile radio communication device.
