The at least one window flap is connected at its hinged connection (68) to the first wall (16) for movement between a first position in which the at least one window flap is coplanar with the first wall and a second position in which the at least one window flap extends into the interior volume to define a window (66) in the first wall through which one of the articles is exposed to view. The at least one window flap (64) is allowed to move unimpeded by the one article when moving from the first position to the second position whereas it is in engagement at its free end edge at least in part with the one of the articles when in the second position.

摘要： An elongate blank for forming a tubular carton includes panels arranged in a row along the length of the blank. The panels are hingedly connected one to another in series. Each panel has a pair of opposed free end edges disposed generally along the length of the blank. Each panel is formed along either free end edge thereof with a cutout so that the blank is provided along either longitudinal edge thereof with a plurality of tabs each interposed between adjacent cutouts. The cutouts are dimensioned and configured such that the tabs have an identical size and configuration and are complementary to at least some of the cutouts.

摘要： A carton comprises first and second panels disposed in an overlapping relationship, and an interlocking arrangement for interconnecting the first and second panels. The interlocking arrangement comprises a slit formed in the first panel, and a tab projecting from the free end edge of the second panel and received in the slit. The slit includes a main slit portion disposed generally along the free end edge of the first panel, an intermediate slit potion emanating from an end of the main slit portion and extending away from the free end edge of the first panel, and a terminal slit portion emanating from the intermediate slit portion and extending away from the main slit portion to be disposed generally along the free end edge of the first panel. The tab comprises an ear protruding from at least one of the opposite side edges of the tab. The carton is characterised in that a fold line is disposed between the intermediate and terminal slit portions such that an engaging flap is defined by the fold line and the intermediate and terminal slit portions and connected to the first panel along the fold line. The carton is also characterised in that the ear of the tab is disposed in engagement with the engaging flap.

The respective free end edges of the locking and retaining tabs are disposed over the same side of the second panel. One of the locking and retaining tabs comprises a tongue projecting from its free end edge while the other tab is provided with a complementary notch or aperture for receiving the tongue.
