    • An image display apparatus is provided that can obtain a stable and easy to view detection frame and cut-out image in a captured image in which there is a possibility that a congested region and a non-congested region are mixed, such as an omnidirectional image. Congested region detecting section detects a congested region in a captured image by detecting a movement region of the captured image. Object detecting section detects images of targets in the captured image by performing pattern matching.
