摘要： A magnetic recording and reproducing device comprises a capstan rotatable at a constant speed, a rotatable roller, a pair of pinch rollers disposed symmetrically about the bisector or perpendicular erected at the mid-point of the line connecting the centers of the capstan and roller and movable toward the capstan from the opposite direction to be pressed against the same, a head block disposed between the capstan and roller and including a plurality of heads, the capstan and one of the pinch rollers providing first tape transport or drive means while the capstan and the other pinch roller, a second tape transport means being directed toward the roller at which the tape is redirected to be fed to the second tape transport means, the tape being made into contact with the heads of the head block between the first and second film transport means, and the speed of tape imparted thereto by the first tape transport means being slower than the speed of tape imparted thereto by the second tape transport means.

摘要： An apparatus for identifying the type of each of first and second types of tape cassettes which are inserted into the same cassette holder of a tape recorder in a longitudinal direction and mounted at a predetermined position in the tape recorder, the first tape cassette being provided with at least one recess at its side surface perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the second tape cassette being provided with a projection at a position of its side surface corresponding to the position of the recess of the first tape cassette. The apparatus comprises a rotatable lever arranged to be at a predetermined recessive position before mounting the first and second tape cassettes and rotatable toward the first and second tape cassette after mounting the first and second tape cassettes. The rotatable lever engages with the recess of the first tape cassette and the projection of the second tape cassette by the rotation so as to take first and second operating states in accordance with the recess and projection. The apparatus further comprises a switch responsive to the first and second operating states of the rotatable lever so as to identify the kinds of the tapes of the first and second mounted tape cassettes on the basis of the first and second operating states.

摘要： A cassette for accommodating a magnetic tape designed for use in a magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus includes a protective covering provided at an access opening of the cassette into which access opening a transducer head is adapted to project to contact a portion of the magnetic tape. The protective covering is movable between opened and closed positions and is normally biased to the closed position to shield such portion of the magnetic tape from the outside. When the protective covering is moved to the opened position, such portion of the magnetic tape is exposed to the exterior of the cassette for permitting the transducer head to contact such portion of the magnetic tape. The cassette is further provided with a braking lever which applies a braking force to both of the reels to prevent the magnetic tape from being loosened.

摘要： A printing apparatus having a simple construction is constituted by a print element with a plurality of resilient spokes which have type elements disposed vertically thereon and in two rows around the element and extend upwardly from a disc base in a cylinder, and a gear on the disc base integral therewith and coaxial with the disc base and cylinder. The print element is easy to mount and remove. A hammer for pressing each type element on the print element against a printing member and a shaft mechanism for carrying out a shifting operation of the print element are provided. A rotary means includes a motor for rotatably driving the print element and a drive gear connected to the motor. A holder is provided for holding the print element, hammer, and shift mechanism. The print element is preferable mountable and removable with respect to the holder and when mounted, engages the drive gear and is rotatable and vertically movable.
