    • PURPOSE:To improve heat conductivity for preventing an excessive temperature rise of a helix by forcing a member having heat conductivity higher than that of a vacuum outer casing to make surface-contact with the inside face of a vacuum casing in addition to a plurality of dielectric-made helix supporting rods and also fixing said member to said inside face by soldering or welding on a penetrating hole part. CONSTITUTION:A helix 5 is arranged inside a vacuum casing 4 along a tube axis so as to be supported and fixed by a plurality of dielectric-made helix s rods 6. Between respective mutual helix supporting rods 6, metal pieces 7 having higher heat conductivity than that of the vacuum casing 4 are arranged. These metal pieces 7 are so formed as to be laid along the inside of the vacuum casing 4 to come in mutual face contact in a wide area. Further, the metal pieces 7 are fixed vacuum-tightly on the vacuum casing 4 by using penetrating holes 8 drilled in places in contact with metal pieces 7 by soldering or welding. Thereby, a radiation effect from the helix 5 to the vacuum casing 4 is excellent thus to suppress temperature excess at the helix 5 so as to obtain a stable operation characteristic.

Then, even when a picture tube is set up to the east or to the west, a component Bz in the tube axis direction of a leakage magnetic field to an electron beam passing region of an external magnetic field such as earth magnetism can be increased, and said Bz and a vertical axis speed component accompanying deflection of an electron beam can cancel deviation of beam landing. Further, a vertical axial component (By) of the leakage magnetic field can be decreased while similarly cancelling deviation. Thereby, deviation of beam landing can be reduced to obtain a picture having good color purity.

    • PURPOSE:To correct a coma aberration without producing a neck shadow on a screen, by providing auxiliary coils which generate a magnetic field deflecting a center beam in the same direction and which at the same time generate a magnetic field deflecting a pair of side beams in the reverse direction, against the deflection direction of a deflection magnetic field generated by the 2nd deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:At the electronic gun 4 side end portion of a deflection device 5, a pair of auxiliary coils 33, 33 are provided in an up and down direction meeting at right angles with the arrangement direction of three electronic beams 15B, 15G, 15R as if to pinch a horizontal surface where these three electronic beams 15B, 15G, 15R pass. These auxiliary coils 33, 33 generate against the center beam 15G a pin cushion form magnetic field 36a which is in the same direction with the barrel form perpendicular deflection magnetic field 13 of a perpendicular deflection coil, and can generate against the pair of side beams 15B, 15R a pin cushion form magnetic field 36b which is in the reverse direction. As a result, a coma aberration is corrected by acting upon a direction that cancels the action by which barrel form perpendicular deflection magnetic field 13 of the perpendicular deflection coil affects the three electronic beams 15B, 15G, 15R.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a flicker on a display screen due to the asymmetry of the current-voltage characteristic of a nonlinear resistance element which is connected between mutually adjacent display picture element electrodes by constituting the nonlinear resistance element in reverse structure. CONSTITUTION:A nonlinear resistance element 14 for the display picture element electrode 12 of a part A has its lower metal 15 connected to a wiring electrode 13 and its upper electrode 17 connected to a display picture element electrode 12, and nonlinear resistance element 14 for the display picture element electrode 12 of a part B has its upper metal 17 connected to the wiring electrode 13 and its lower metal 15 connected to the display picture element 12. Thus, the nonlinear resistance elements 14 connected between the mutually adjacent picture element electrodes 12 are in the reverse structure, so even if the current-voltage characteristics of the nonlinear resistance elements 14 have some asymmetry between the positive and negative directions, the effect is canceled between the adjacent picture element electrodes 12 to eliminate the flicker on the display screen.

    • PURPOSE:To offer an electron tube excellent in voltage resisting property by integrating a voltage dividing resistant element and a capacity element together so that it can be incorporated in a small color cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:Conductor layers 2, 3 the main component of which is a high melting point metal, e.g. W, Mo are formed on both faces of an insulating substrate 1, and electrode takeout leads 4, 5 are provided opposite to each other at the end portion of one conductor layer 2, and an electrode takeout lead 6 is connected to the end portion of the other conductor layer 3. Each of the electrode takeout leads 4, 5, 6 protrudes outwardly from the insulating substrate 1. Besides, overcoat layers 7, 8 the main component of which is Al2O3 are formed on respective conductor layers 2, 3. On overcoat layer 7 serves as an insulating substrate for a voltage dividing resisting element, and the other overcoat layer 8 for a capacitance element. Thus, a voltage dividing resisting element and a capacity element, which have conventionally been mounted singly inside a color cathode-ray tube, are integrated together.
