摘要： A protection unit for a.c. motor, which can monitor the rotary magnetic field to realize the protection function. The unit is composed of detecting coils embedded in the stator slots of the motor and the protector connected with them, and according to the corresponding relation between the induced voltage of each detecting coil and the magnetic induction intensity of the rotary magnetic field at corresponding position, the induced voltages of the detecting coils are monitored by the protector by means of detecting the amplitude change of the induced voltages, or detecting the imbalance of the induced voltages, or detecting the change of the phase sequence of the induced voltages, when overload, rotation b locking, over-voltage, under-voltage, phase failure, eccentricity between stator and rotor, or inverse rotation occurs in the protected motor, so as to realize the protection for the motor.
