    • A rear wheel suspension for a motor vehicle comprises first and second suspension devices (8a, 8b) carrying a right and left, respectively, rear wheel rotating in a wheel plane forming a toe angle (δ) with respect to a longitudinal axis (X) and a camber angle with respect to a vertical axis (Z). A transversal beam (10) connects the first suspension device (8a) and the second suspension device (8b). Each suspension device comprises a wheel spindle housing (11a, 11b), defining a wheel centre, and a leading link (14a, 14b) and a trailing link (15a, 15b) connected to the vehicle body. The transversal beam permits bending for vertical loads to provide the suspension devices a deflection to adjust the toe and camber angles such that the changes of the camber angles when the wheel planes converge towards an upper point above the wheel centre connect to a controlled adjustment of the toe angles such that the wheel planes converge directionally towards a rear point located rearwards of the wheel centre.

    • The invention refers to a motor vehicle and wheel suspension assembly for a rear wheel of a motor vehicle. The assembly comprises wheel spindle housing (11 ) supporting a wheel spindle (12) carrying the rear wheel (6) and defining a wheel center. A frame structure (9) is adapted to be connected to a vehicle body or an engine-transmission assembly of the motor vehicle. A spring link (13) extends between the frame structure and the wheel spindle housing and carries a vehicle spring (14). First and second control links (16, 17) extend between the frame structure and the wheel spindle housing to control the wheel spindle housing to maintain the rear wheel substantially in parallel with a longitudinal direction (X). A first (18) and second (19) camber link extends between the frame structure and the wheel spindle housing, and intersect each other. An instantaneous center of motion is located at a position far outside the wheel and then rearward the wheel, or far inside the wheel and then forward the wheel.

    • A motor vehicle has a wheel suspension for the rear wheel. The wheel suspension comprises wheel spindle housing (11) and a frame structure (9).
