摘要： A chair having a back assembly which includes a common back frame, multiple interchangeable crossbars, and a resiliently flexible cover. The cover includes an open interior or pocket which is adapted to receive the crossbar therein and prevent dislodgement of the crossbar. During assembly, the crossbar is first inserted within the open interior of the cover and then fitted into engagement with the back frame wherein the crossbar is held in place by stretching the cover and then engaging the lower edge of the cover with the back frame.

摘要： A height adjustment mechanism in a chair operates automatically by raising and lowering a chair component such as a chair back. The height adjustment mechanism is provided on a chair back or other chair support and includes a gear which engages a rack member that is vertically movable relative thereto in response to movement of the chair back. A locking member is provided which engages the gear to prevent downward movement of the chair back while still permitting upward movement of the chair back. A disengagement member also is provided to separate the gear and the locking member and maintain the gear in a disengaged position that permits lowering of the chair back.

Further, the rear seat portion is connected in lifting engagement with the upright but also includes independent suspension for the center of the rear seat portion to allow for independent movement and flexing thereof to improve comfort for the chair occupant.

The tank assembly has at least two tanks nested with one another and having one-way valve mechanisms on the bottom thereof. The two tanks are slidably mounted to one another and the tank assembly is slidably mounted and operatively connected to the machine. With this structure, the user can quickly and easily remove and refill the tanks and continue operation of the machine with a minimum amount of interruption and delay.

摘要： A water extraction cleaning machine has a suction nozzle assembly with two suction nozzle openings incorporated. The suction nozzle openings are preferably positioned one on each side of the cleaning solution spray nozzles so that the cleaning machine can be used for simultaneous application and removal of cleaning fluid regardless of whether the user is pushing or pulling the cleaning machine. In another aspect, a plate member is slidably mounted to the bottom of the suction nozzle assembly. The plate member has a pair of suction nozzle openings which are spaced to seal one of the two suction nozzles of the suction nozzle assembly depending upon the direction of travel of the suction nozzle assembly.
