    • A driving control apparatus and method for use with a display array are provided. The display array comprises a plurality of pixel areas arranged in an array configuration. The driving control apparatus comprises a system control circuit and a drive circuit. The system control circuit is adapted to detect an activation signal and determine an enabling period after the detection. The drive circuit is adapted to control the activation of the display array. The drive circuit comprises a plurality of scan lines and data lines. During the enabling period, each of the scan lines activates part of the pixel areas while each of the data lines transmit a voltage to the activated pixel area so that at least a part of the activated pixels corresponds to a predetermined luminance. The driving control method comprises steps for implementing the driving control apparatus.

    • A conductive connection such as a flexible printed circuit board (FPC) or flexible flat cable is disclosed. The conductive connection has a substrate and conductive wires provided on the substrate. After the conductive connection is cut to be put into application, ends of the wires extend out of an edge of the substrate due to the cutting. In accordance with the present invention, the substrate edge from which the wire ends extend out has protrusions provided. Accordingly, when the conductive connection is applied to a flat display of a mobile phone, for example, short circuit resulting from the wire ends extending out of the substrate edge improperly contacting metal portion of other phone parts is avoided.

    • An organic light emitting display includes a display unit, a scan line, a data line, a reference line and a main voltage line. The display unit includes a first PMOS transistor, an OLED and a capacitor. The first PMOS transistor generates a driving current. The OLED emits light according to the driving current. The capacitor has a first end and a second end, and the first end and the second end selectively and respectively receives a data signal and a reference voltage according to a control signal. The scan line is for transmitting a scan signal. The data line is for transmitting the data signal. The reference line is for outputting the reference voltage. The main voltage line is for outputting a main voltage to the first PMOS transistor.

    • An electroluminescent display device includes an active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED). A pixel array is formed on a light transmissive substrate and electrically coupled to a common power transmission line and conductive material that substantially fills a channel formed between a cover and the substrate. The channel and the conductive may include a cross-sectional area of about 0.5 to 5 mm2. The conductive material may be a gel, fluid, powder or conductive epoxy and assists the common power transmission line in transmitting power. The substantial cross-sectional area makes the common power transmission line resistant to burn out and is capable of carrying large currents such as needed for display devices having a length or width of 30 inches.
