    • A molded article of an aromatic polyester block copolymer-series resin is obtained, which is excellent in hydrolysis resistance, heat resistance, and yellowing resistance. There is used a polyester based thermoplastic resin composition comprising: 100 parts by weight of a polyester block copolymer (A) which is a reaction product of a thermoplastic aromatic polyester (a) and a lactone (b) and has a terminal carboxyl group in an amount of less than 5 mg-KOH/g as an acid number; 0.05 to 5 parts by weight of a polycarbodiimide compound (B); 0. 05 to 5 parts by weight of a bifunctional or polyfunctional epoxy compound (C); 0.01 to 0.5 part by weight of a phenol-series antioxidant (D); and 0.01 to 0.5 part by weight of a sulfur-series antioxidant (E).

    • Disclosed is a biaxially stretched styrenic resin sheet obtained by biaxially stretching a resin composition comprising (A) a styrenic resin and (B) crosslinked styrenic fine particles having an average particle size of 0.5 to 15 &mgr;m in an amount of from 0.001 to 1% by weight based on the resin composition. The resin composition may further comprise (C) a rubber modified styrenic resin containing a rubber component having an average particle size of 0.1 to 4 &mgr;m in such an amount that the rubber component concentration attributed to the rubber modified styrenic resin is from 0.005 to 0.1% by weight based on the resin composition. The styrenic stretched sheets exhibit improved blocking resistance owing to fine unevenness uniformly formed on the surface thereof while retaining the transparency. Even when a number of the sheets or formings obtained therefrom are stacked, they are easily separated apart without blocking.

    • The present invention provides an anti-fogging agent for the surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet which exerts the following excellent effects: (1) The effect of inhibiting fogging on the surface of the sheet due to the condensation of vapor can last over an extended period of time; (2) Excellent blocking resistance and coating stability make the anti-fogging surface less peelable in the procedure of heating it over a heating plate in a direct heating process so that it is formed into various shapes; and (3) The incorporation of a polyvalent alcohol having wetting properties in a predetermined amount provides excellent antistatic properties. The present invention provides an anti-fogging thermoplastic resin sheet treated with the foregoing anti-fogging agent. A novel anti-fogging agent for the surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet is provided, comprising a polyvalent alcohol incorporated therein in an amount of from 1 to 15 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of a mixture of a sucrose aliphatic ester and a coat-forming hydrophilic polymeric compound. A novel anti-fogging thermoplastic resin sheet treated with the foregoing anti-fogging agent is also provided.
