    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-layered, foamed flame-retardant adhesive tape which is flame-retardant but is burnable, does not form a harmful off-gas at incineration, produces little amount of a residual ash, causes no clogging of filters, floats on water without settling in water and is prepared by applying an adhesive with good adhesive property onto a foamed flame-retardant sheet.
      SOLUTION: The two-layered, foamed flame-retardant adhesive tape is obtained by firmly attaching sheet A comprising a foamed flame-retardant sheet layer to sheet B comprising a non-foamed flame-retardant sheet layer and further forming an adhesive layer on the sheet B surface. The foamed flame-retardant sheet layer is prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. flame-retardant resin mixture with 0.8-3.0 pts.wt. heat-expandable microcapsule and foaming, molding and processing the same. The flame-retardant resin mixture comprises at least 30-120 pts.wt. hydrazodicarbonamide as a flame retardant against 100 pts.wt. total resin comprising 100-96 wt.% urethane resin and 0-4 wt.% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and has a specific gravity of 0.60-0.98, an oxygen index of ≥26 and a residual ash content of ≤0.1 wt.%.
