      SOLUTION: The fluid improvement device comprises (a) a fluid purification container 10 having an introduction port 14 for introducing a fluid before purification and an outflow port 15 for flowing out the fluid after the purification, (b) one or a plurality of pairs of AC impression electrodes 3a, 3b accommodated in the container 10, (c) a cylindrical ground electrode 3d disposed so as to surround the outer periphery of the AC impression electrodes 3a, 3b, (d) a polarity switching circuit 2 connected to the AC impression electrodes 3a, 3b to switch their polarity, and (e) a constant current power source 1 having a current detection part SR detecting a current flowing through the AC impression electrodes 3a, 3b during fluid treatment to maintain the current value detected by the current detection part SR constant.

      SOLUTION: The gasket 30 has a male screw piece with a fluid channel and a male screw and a female piece with a fluid channel and a female screw, and is used for a joint to connect the two channels by screwing the male screw piece to the female screw piece. The gasket 30 also has an annular gasket body 31 and a presser member 32 slackly engaged with the outer periphery of the gasket body 31. The presser member 32 has an annular band part 321 disposed along the outer periphery of the gasket body 31 with a notch in the middle and clasping pieces 322 facing each other in the cross direction of the band part 321 for clasping both end faces of the gasket body 31.
