摘要： The present invention relates to device and method for driving a liquid crystal display device. The device includes a liquid crystal display panel having a plurality of pixel regions, a gate driver for driving a plurality of gate lines on the liquid crystal display panel, a data driver for driving a plurality of data lines on the liquid crystal display panel, and a timing controller for analyzing an image data received from an outside of the driver according to pattern recognition information having a detection factor and a detection stop factor for a defective display pattern to detect, or stopping detection of, the defective display pattern, and changing an inversion system of the liquid crystal display panel according to a result of the detection of the defective display pattern.
