    • A liquid crystal display device having a built in touch screen including a first substrate having pixel units comprising: a plurality of pixels displaying an image and sensor regions having light sensors formed adjacent to the corresponding pixel units to sense a position of a contacted object; a second substrate disposed on the first substrate, comprising: color filters formed on regions corresponding to the pixel units and first black matrices formed on regions corresponding to the sensor regions of the pixel units; a liquid crystal layer interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a backlight assembly disposed on a bottom portion of the first substrate and providing light to the first substrate and the second substrate. The liquid crystal display device with the built in touch screen determines a point of contact on the touch screen.

    • A stylus pen for a capacitive touch screen that allows delicate input. The stylus pen for the capacitive touch panel includes: a pen having a body extending longitudinally and an input portion positioned at one end of the body to provide touch input to the capacitive type touch panel, wherein the input portion comprises: a center conductor having a connection portion that is combined with the body and a tip portion having a cross-sectional area that is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the connection portion that is connected to the body; and a transparent electrode plate that is connected to an end of the tip portion of the center conductor opposite an end connected to the connection portion, wherein the transparent electrode plate has a cross-sectional area larger than the tip portion while defining a touch surface.

    • Disclosed is a liquid crystal display including a liquid crystal panel that includes a plurality of liquid crystal cells for controlling light transmission, a common electrode driving circuit for providing a common voltage signal to a common electrode provided in the liquid crystal panel and a first signal driving circuit for providing a first signal to a transparent electrode provided in the liquid crystal panel. The first signal and the common voltage signal have the same frequency and amplitude, but are out of phase with each other. The transparent electrode is designed to cancel an acoustic noise generated by the application of the common voltage signal. The liquid crystal panel includes two substrates that face each other. In one embodiment, the common electrode and the transparent electrode are formed in the same substrate, and in another embodiment, the common electrode and the transparent electrode are formed in different substrates.

The brushless DC motor includes a rotor made up of a permanent magnet with M number of poles, and a stator operating in K number of phases by means of windings wound on N number of teeth, wherein the plurality of windings having the same excitation phases wound on the teeth, are each maintained in shunt connection so as to improve driving torque and a rotational speed. A brushless DC motor includes a switching section having a plurality of upper switching devices and a plurality of lower switching devices connected with each other in series. Each of the windings is connected between a common joint between the upper and lower switching devices, and a common joint between a lower power supply voltage and a plurality of upper power supply voltages.
