    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerator used for sewage treatment, or the like, and an advanced sewage treating method using the same. SOLUTION: The aerator provided with functions of swirling, aeration and intermittent aeration is constituted of a stirrer 3a which is installed in deep depth of water in a reaction tank, an ejector 1 which is equipped with an air supply tube 11 and is installed in shallow depth of water, a pump 4 having a suction port and an jetting port and an aeration stream guiding pipe 2. In the aerator, air inhaled by using the ejector 1 is forcibly fed by the pump 4 through the aeration stream guiding pipe 2 to deep depth of water to increase amount of air inhalation, is jetted while colliding with rotary vanes of the stirrer 3a to perform aeration and agitation in the reaction tank. Thus, the aerator is equipped with an intermittent aeration function which enables alternate repetition between aeration and non-aeration swirling to be performed. In the advanced sewage treating method, an aerator of a conventional system and this aerator are applied in an advanced sewage treating process, thus various operation modes can be selected and are variably operated. Thereby variation of operation conditions can be coped with and nitrogen and phosphor can be removed with high efficiencies from the sewage of a low inflow C/N ratio. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged aerator with multi-step mixing and dispersing function having a high oxygen transfer ratio and an excellent aeration power efficiency. SOLUTION: This submerged aerator with the multi-step mixing and dispersing function is composed of an ejector equipped with a water stream inlet 11, an air suction port 12 and a gas-liquid mixed water stream outlet and a casing 3 equipped with a drive motor 4, a rotation vane 2 and an aeration water stream outlet 31. Therein, reaction liquid flowing into the water stream inlet 11 of the ejector by the rotation of the rotation vane 2 and supplied air are subjected to primary mixing dispersion by the ejector. The gas-liquid mixed water stream flowing out of the ejector is sucked into the casing 3, is brought into collision with the rotation vane 2 and is subjected to secondary mixing dispersion. The aeration water stream subjected to the secondary mixing dispersion is injected to the reaction vessel through the aeration water stream outlet 31 of the casing 3, thereafter, is subjected to further mixing dispersions of two times by means of the ejector and the rotation vane 2, and through the prolonging of gas-liquid contact time and the reclamation of gas-liquid contact interface, the oxygen transsibility is enhanced. SOLUTION: The biomembrane carrier for a liquid phase is formed by inserting a microorganism-contacting material into a firm synthetic resin case, wherein the microorganism-contacting material comprises a fibrous or sponge-like material and is formed by covering its surface with powdered ceramic, adhering granulated ceramic to the surface or mixing the granulated ceramic into its inside, so that a specific surface area and biological affinity of the microorganism-contacting material is increased, and further, a specific gravity of the carrier is controlled, and fluidity thereof is excellent. Further, another biomembrane carrier for a solid phase is structured by inserting the material comprising the ceramic into a case having a fixation means and an installation means and fixing the material thereto, so that the carrier is easily applied to a reactor. These carriers are used in various manners other than the use of the biomembrane carriers, e.g., used as a filling material of a wash-column, or the like, for treating a noxious gas. The means of spraying the hydrogen peroxide water to the red tide comprises mounting a water spraying machine composed of pipes provided with many nozzles on a transporting means, such as a ship or aircraft, spraying the hydrogen peroxide water into the water on the seawater surface or under the seawater surface by means of a pump, spraying the diluted hydrogen peroxide water mixed with the seawater to increase the flow rate of spraying of the hydrogen peroxide water in such a manner that the mixing and contact of the red tide microorganisms and the hydrogen peroxide are well performed, and spraying the hydrogen peroxide water together with a bivalent iron salt (Fe
      ++ ) to the red tide water area by a catalyst agent to increase oxidation reduction potential in order to increase the oxidizing power acting on the red tide microorganisms.
