    • The present invention addresses a problem of providing a tissue piece treating method and a tissue piece treating apparatus by which treatment of a tissue piece by each of liquid chemicals can be favorably performed and a running cost can be reduced. In order to address the problem, in a tissue piece treating method in a tissue piece treating apparatus (30) for executing an immersion treatment process by each of the liquid chemicals by supplying the liquid chemicals with different types into a treatment tank (40) in which a basket (42) accommodating the tissue piece is disposed in a predetermined order, a liquid supply/drain cycle in which the liquid chemical in such an amount that the entire basket (42) is exposed in the treatment tank (40) is drained from the treatment tank (40) during the execution of the immersion treatment process by each of the liquid chemicals, and the drained liquid chemical is supplied into the treatment tank (40) so that the entire basket (42) is immersed is repeatedly performed so as to agitate the liquid chemical.

    • The present invention addresses the problem of providing a technology capable of automatically preparing a mixed liquid having a fixed ratio. To address the problem, the following processes are carried out in a tissue piece treating apparatus (10). (a) By use of a detection sensor (36), a dehydrating agent is transferred from a dehydrating agent tank (large-capacity tank (15)) to a treatment tank (11) until reaching a prescribed level. (b) By use of the detection sensor (36), an intermediate agent is transferred from an intermediate agent tank (large-capacity tank (17)) to the treatment tank (11) until reaching a prescribed level. (c) An admixture obtained by mixing the dehydrating agent by the process of (a) and the intermediate agent by the process of (b) is transferred from the treatment tank (11) to an admixture tank (14).

    • The present invention addresses the problem of a tissue piece treating apparatus in which drying in an inside of a treating tank is promoted, compared with conventional tissue piece treating apparatuses, and the gas in the inside of the treating tank is discharged so that a risk of inflammation can be prevented. As a solution, a tissue piece treating apparatus (10) according to the present invention includes: a treating tank (18) in which a tissue piece is housed, and immersion of the tissue piece is performed by a chemical solution being supplied thereto; a communication passage (34) that is connected to the treating tank (18); one or a plurality of chemical solution bottles (24) that are connected to the treating tank (18) through the communication passage (34), and store chemical solutions to be supplied to the treating tank (18); and a pump (60) that causes an inside of the treating tank (18)to be a negative pressure to supply the chemical solution from the chemical solution bottle (24) to the inside of the treating tank (18), and causes the inside of the treating tank (18) to be a positive pressure to discharge the chemical solution from the inside of the treating tank (18) to the chemical solution bottle (24), in which the communication passage (34), which partially branches, includes an outside air port (42) that communicates with an outside air, and is thus configured to be able to supply and discharge the outside air to and from the inside of the treating tank (18) by receiving an action of the pump (60).
