摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a polymer coated magnetic fine polymer by coating an inorganic fine particle with a thin polymer layer under precise control of a polymerization reaction and a method for preparing the same. Onto a surface of the inorganic fine particle the iniferter is fixed and grafted chains are formed on the inorganic fine particle by a living radical polymerization using the iniferter as an initiator which is defined by the following chemical formula:

(wherein X is a hydrophilic atomic group being capable of binding to a surface of the inorganic fine particle, R1 and R2 are each independently selected from a mono-valent hydrocarbyl group which is formed by removing one hydrogen atom from hydrocarbon.)

摘要： A gas generator for an air bag according to the present invention comprising a cylindrical housing, an inner cylindrical member disposed inside the housing, a central cylindrical member disposed inside the inner cylindrical member, a gas generating agent packed in an annular space between the central cylindrical member and the inner cylindrical member and an ignition means for igniting the gas generating agent, wherein the ignition means comprises in turn a transfer charge disposed at one end of the central cylindrical member, an igniter for igniting the transfer charge and a fire transfer member disposed close to the transfer charge at a central portion of the central cylindrical member, and wherein the fire transfer member is constituted by a non-explosive material and comprises a stick-like member extending along almost the full length of the central cylindrical member. The gas generator for an air bag according to the present invention is provided with an ignition structure which can generate uniform ignition energy in a longitudinal direction thereof.

摘要： A three-phase brushless motor having magnetoelectric transducers for detecting the rotational position of a rotor (2) having a plurality of magnetizable regions, two of the magnetoelectric transducers being disposed in such a positional relation as to have an electrical angle of 120o or 240o, thereby to obtain composite signals with a phase difference of 120o from the output signals of the magnetoelectric transducers, respectively, so that the driving current to be fed to a stator coil (1) is determined by the composite signals and the output signals of the magnetoelectric transducers, wherein an auxiliary magnetic pole (2b) opposite in polarity to a main magnetic pole (2a) is provided near a portion of the rotor (2) opposing to each magnetoelectric transducer in order to steepen the waveform of the output signal from each magnetoelectric transducer at the zero-crossing point of the waveform of the composite signal, thereby to feed an excellent driving current to the stator coil (1) and improve the torque unevenness.
