      SOLUTION: A container is composed of a water-absorbent ceramic container body 1 with a plurality of ventilation holes 6 formed in the bottom part; and a lid 2 for clogging its upper part. When the device is used, the container body 1 is previously soaked with water or water containing a herb component or stores raw herb, etc., after soaking with water. Subsequently, a heated thermal storage material 3 is arranged inside the container body and the bottom of the container clogged with the lid 2 is abutted onto a lesion. The lesion is warmed by using generated steam. The thermal storage material 3 is a ceramic solid body including multiple degassing holes 5 in the bottom.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of high-strength bolts for use by increasing a frictional force generated at a high-strength bolt friction joint for joining building structural materials made of a steel frame and the like.
      SOLUTION: In this joining structure P, a splice plate (S1), which covers joints (L1b) and (L2b) of a pair of base materials (L1) and (L2) astride them, and a frictional sheet material (Q1a), which is positioned between the splice plate and the joint (L1b), are tightened and held in a sandwiched state by the high-strength bolt (U1a). An annular high-strength bolt action area (H1) is formed in such a manner as to share the central axis (C1) of the high-strength bolt (U1a), outside a high-strength bolt tightening force enabling area (G1) which stretches out concentrically from the central axis (C1). The thickness of the frictional sheet material (Q1a) is increased by a dimension (Δd1C) of increased thickness for compensating the deformation of the splice plate, adequate for the filling of a slight amount of joint surface void (g1) formed between the frictional sheet (Q1a) and the splice plate (S1), by the warping of the splice plate (S1) in the area (H1).

    • An automatic machine for die cutting and creasing paperboard and similar paper materials, in sheet or continuous web form, into shaped package blanks and the like has a separation station at which the shaped blanks are separated from the waste portions of the sheet or web. The blanks are cut into the paperboard stock leaving just enough material, termed nicks, to hold the blanks and waste material together for transfer as a unit to a separation station. The machine is so designed that the male and female dies are simultaneously formed by cutting both from a single panel of plywood and even though the portions remaining between the individual die openings of the female ones of the dies are too narrow and weak to withstand the impact incident to the separation operation, are reinforced to provide the necessary strength by bonding a strip of creasing die to the lower face of the portions needing reinforcement.
