摘要： A contro system is described for the supply of pressure medium to an automatic transmission of a vehicle. The transmission comprises a change-speed gearbox (42), a torque converter (4), a primary pump (1) driven by the engine and a secondary pump (16) driven by the output shaft (15) of the automatic transmission. The control system comprises a valve arrangement by means of which the primary pump (1) and the secondary pump (16) can be set into operation selectively as a function of the operating state of the vehicle. In a first working range in which the speed of the output shaft (15) is lower than a predetermined value, the two pumps (1 and 16) are connected in parallel by way of a check valve (61) and supply pressure medium to both the torque converter (4) and the chagne-speed gearbox (42), and in a second working range in which the speed of the output shaft exceeds the said predetermined value, the primary pump (1) supplies pressure medium only to the torque converter (4) and the secondary pump (16) supplies pressure medium to the change-speed gearbox (42).
