    • An in-cylinder injection, spark ignited internal combustion engine including a fuel injection valve spraying fuel substantially in a sector having a relatively small thickness and spreading substantially vertically to implement homogenous combustion and stratified combustion, ensures that for stratified combustion a large portion of the sprayed fuel is injected into a cavity and thus sufficiently vaporized and positioned as a combustible air fuel mixture in a vicinity of an ignition plug.     • PURPOSE:To prevent an influence on the environment, simultaneously impart the shape retaining strength and enable the reutilization of an industrial waste slag as a foundation-forming material for civil engineering and construction by molding the industrial waste slag into a molding having a prescribed shape and coating the resultant molding with a resin. CONSTITUTION:This method for reutilizing an industrial waste slag is to cast a molten slag 2, obtained from a melting furnace 1 for carrying out the incineration treatment of the industrial waste slag and containing toxic metallic components, etc., into a metallic mold 3 having a shape designed according to the purpose of use, cool and solidify the molten slag by allowing the slag to stand or quenching thereof, etc., remove the metallic mold 3, provide a solid slag 5, coat the surface of the solid slag 5 in a brittle state with a liquid resin 6 such as an epoxy resin or a fiber-reinforced composite resin (FRP), cure the coating and afford a product block 7. The resin film is formed by selecting the kind of the liquid resin or coating thickness according to the durability, strength, cost, etc., required for the product block 7 and the wrapping of a resin sheet or coating thereof with a resin-based panel material in place of coating is within the scope of application.

    • PURPOSE:To suppress expansive destruction of concrete and transfer a destruction to a phenomenon of a much higher grade. CONSTITUTION:When a resin covering 11 is placed over the surface of a concrete structure, a resin band 12 of a certain specified width is installed in an appropriate position on a resin reinforcing material. When the compressive load on the concrete structure expands the specified position of this structure, the resin band 12 further reinforces the resin reinforced film material in the part and checks expansive destruction. The compressive load does not act on the concrete structure uniformly, but acts on the specified position particularly to cause expansion of the concrete and its destruction, so that the expansive destruction of concrete transfers to a phenomenon of a much higher grade if the part is subjected to a thicker reinforcement than the other parts.
