摘要： The invention provides a method of attaching a propulsion unit 12 to a scarifier 10. The device 22 verifies via a switch 24 closure that the coupler 14 and ball 16 are attached. The switch 24 is located in the tube 26 to which the ball 16 mounts. When the coupler 14 is placed on the ball 16 a spring loaded plate 28 is depressed. This plate 28 travels down with the coupler and activates the switch 24. The scarifier 10 can be configured to prevent operation unless the propulsion unit 12 is attached via the hitch. The object of this interlock is to encourage operators to use the propulsion unit in order to minimize vibration to the operator.

摘要： A check valve comprises a housing, a fluid passage, a seat, a valve member and a stop. The fluid passage extends through the housing. The seat is disposed in the fluid passage. The valve member is positioned in the passage to engage the seat. The stop extends through the housing to engage the valve member. The stop is accessible from outside the housing to adjust a distance the valve member can travel from the seat. In one embodiment, the stop includes a variable stop feature, such as an offset pin or a cam. In another embodiment, the stop includes a pump control valve. In yet another embodiment, the housing includes markings to indicate a position of the stop. The valve member comprises a ball or a poppet in different embodiments.

The floating axle 16 will allow the two large outboard wheels 46 to guide the unit, but still maintain pressure on the smaller guide wheels 50. The floating axle 16 can also be locked to compensate for extremely uneven conditions.
